Earth Day- 22nd April 2010
Earth Day is an opportunity for individuals, organizations and governments to join together and create a global green economy. Join more than one billion people in 190 countries that are taking action for Earth Day and making a contribution to the billion acts of green that are taking place for this global cause. An act of green doesn't have to be something grand, it can be anything that benefits the environment.
From recycling and waste reduction initiatives, clean energy, water awareness campaigns, sustainable development, green product procurement, green schools and green education resources, there are lots of ideas to make a difference and encourage participation at individual, company and organizational level.
Making a personal commitment to sustainability could be something simple like switching from using plastic bottles of water to using a reusable water bottle made from safe, durable and sustainable stainless steel.
At Cool Green Attitude, water bottles in hand, we have made a pledge to clean up our act further by applying pure and simple diligent awareness to switch off all the lights for Earth Day and anything else we can that is not in use. Every effort counts, no matter how small it seems.
