Organic cotton is cultivated without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, unlike conventionally grown cotton. This means the "living soil" has been free from any toxic substances for at least 3 years and enriched by organic compost and other organic matter.
This results in a soil and water supply that are cleaner, which in turn protects the local population and wildlife. The resulting cotton fibre is processed into fabric without the use of harmful chemicals or bleach.
The cotton used by Cool Green Attitude is of the highest quality and is produced as 100% pure organically grown cotton.
Our organic cotton clothing is dyed using azo-free dyes that meet the requirements of Global Organic Textile Standards and are Oeko-Tex certified. All of our baby garments have also been certified by the Soil Association in the UK.
